THE BIG EVENTS MEETINGS

"The Big Events" ideas must be agreed upon by a panel of Battle Creek's local youth leaders between the ages of 14 to 21. The purpose of these events is to involve the youth in organizing and planning something positive for the city of Battle Creek. Both events will be organized and facilitated by the youth themselves. We will have 4 meetings (every Friday) during the month of April 2023. The first 2 meetings will be held online, and the last 2 meetings will be in-person at The Link Community Engagement Center. During these meetings we will offer planning and preparation assistance for the youth participants. Both events will be fully funded, and the youth will be paid for organizing and facilitating the events. The budget for these events must be no more than $1,500 each, and both events must take place between May 1st, 2023 and June 30th, 2023.
